Patient Care: Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols. Monitor patients' health status, vital signs, and symptoms, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team. 2. Medication Administration: Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication administration protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects of medications and intervene appropriately. 3. Nursing Assessments and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay, documenting findings accurately and timely. Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records. 4. Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques. Provide emotional support, counseling, and encouragement to patients and their families during difficult times. 5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Communicate pertinent patient information, changes in condition, and nursing interventions to healthcare team members during shift handovers and interdisciplinary rounds. 6. Infection Control and Safety: Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent healthcare-associated infections and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Follow standard precautions, isolation procedures, and sterilization techniques when handling medical equipment and performing patient care activities. 7. Professional Development: Participate in continuing education programs, workshops, and training sessions to enhance nursing knowledge, skills, and competencies. Stay updated on best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and advancements in nursing practice to deliver high-quality care to patients. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution. Valid nursing license issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
