As part of our team, we are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join us as Housekeeping Staff. Job Description: 1. Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and tidy guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to established standards and procedures, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and amenities. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries as needed, ensuring freshness, cleanliness, and presentation of guest accommodations. 2. Bathroom and Restroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers, removing stains, mold, and mildew, and replenishing supplies such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in public restrooms, corridors, elevators, and other common areas, monitoring and addressing cleanliness issues promptly to maintain a positive guest experience. 3. Waste Management and Recycling: Collect, sort, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials responsibly, following waste management protocols and environmental sustainability practices to minimize environmental impact and promote recycling efforts. Empty trash receptacles, replace trash liners, and clean trash cans regularly, maintaining cleanliness and odor control in guest rooms and public areas. 4. Linen and Laundry Management: Collect used linens and towels from guest rooms, transport them to the laundry facility, and assist in sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing clean linens and towels for reuse. Monitor linen inventory levels, report shortages or damages to the housekeeping supervisor, and assist in restocking linen carts and storage areas as needed to ensure availability for guest use. 5. Room Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of cleaned rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with hotel standards and guest expectations. Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team, assisting in resolving issues promptly to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. 6. Guest Service and Assistance: Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and special instructions, providing assistance with luggage handling, room amenities, and other guest needs with professionalism and courtesy. Address guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services, resolving issues or escalating them to management as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction and retention. Requirements: Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning services preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in performing cleaning tasks and maintaining hygiene standards. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during shifts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, to accommodate hotel operations and guest needs.
