Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare a variety of Chinese dishes, including appetizers, soups, main courses, and desserts, adhering to authentic recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Ensure the freshness, quality, and flavor of ingredients used in cooking, sourcing seasonal produce, meats, seafood, and spices from trusted suppliers and vendors. 2. Cooking Techniques and Execution: Employ traditional Chinese cooking techniques, such as stir-frying, steaming, braising, and deep-frying, to prepare dishes with optimal flavor, texture, and aroma. Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and cooking methods closely to avoid overcooking or undercooking ingredients, maintaining consistency and quality in every dish. 3. Flavor Profile and Seasoning: Balance flavors and seasonings in Chinese dishes, including sweet, sour, salty, spicy, and savory elements, adjusting seasoning levels and ingredient proportions to achieve authentic taste profiles. Experiment with different combinations of herbs, spices, sauces, and condiments to create unique and flavorful dishes while respecting traditional Chinese culinary principles. 4. Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards in food preparation, handling, storage, and serving, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area and following HACCP guidelines. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices, temperature control, and sanitation procedures, to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure customer safety. 5.
