As part of our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our construction sites. Job Description: 1. Site Management and Coordination: Supervise day-to-day construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, foundation work, structural erection, MEP installations, finishing, and landscaping, in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow, timely completion of tasks, and adherence to project schedules and milestones. 2. Quality Assurance and Control: Monitor work progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with construction standards, codes, and specifications, conducting regular inspections and quality checks to identify defects, deviations, or deficiencies. Implement corrective actions, instructions, and solutions to address issues, resolve conflicts, and maintain high standards of construction quality and craftsmanship. 3. Safety and Risk Management: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, regulations, and best practices on the construction site, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers, subcontractors, and visitors. Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions, promoting awareness of hazards, safe work practices, and emergency procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. 4. Material Management and Procurement: Oversee material handling, storage, and inventory control on the construction site, verifying delivery quantities, inspecting materials for quality and compliance, and maintaining accurate records of material usage and wastage. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies required for construction activities, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime. 5. Workforce Management and Supervision: Lead, motivate, and supervise construction crews, laborers, and subcontractors, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance to maximize productivity, efficiency, and teamwork. Train and mentor junior staff, apprentices, or trainees on proper construction techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and job-specific tasks to enhance skills and capabilities. 6. Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and management, providing regular updates, progress reports, and construction status updates as required. Document daily activities, work logs, site incidents, and construction progress using digital tools, construction management software, or paper-based forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience. Thorough understanding of construction methods, techniques, materials, and equipment, with hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
