As part of our team, we are seeking diligent and reliable Site Workers to assist in various on-site construction tasks and contribute to the successful completion of projects. Job Description: 1. Construction Site Support: Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including clearing debris, leveling ground, erecting temporary structures, and installing safety barriers and signage. Provide general support and assistance to skilled workers, supervisors, and subcontractors as needed to facilitate efficient workflow and project progress. 2. Material Handling and Transportation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to and from the construction site, ensuring proper handling, storage, and organization. Assist in the delivery and distribution of materials to designated work areas, helping to maintain inventory control and project schedule adherence. 3. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment under supervision, such as shovels, hammers, drills, and compactors, following safety guidelines and instructions. Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and safety compliance. 4. Site Cleanup and Waste Management: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the construction site by collecting and disposing of debris, waste materials, and hazardous substances in designated containers and disposal areas. Assist in recycling efforts and environmental conservation initiatives by segregating recyclable materials and following proper waste management practices. 5. Safety Compliance and Awareness: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices while performing on-site construction tasks, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety instructions. Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments, reporting any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to supervisors promptly. 6. Team Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other site workers, skilled tradespersons, supervisors, and project managers to coordinate activities, share information, and achieve project objectives. Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and subcontractors regarding task assignments, instructions, and updates to ensure clarity and alignment. 7. Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements, site conditions, and task priorities, willing to take on additional responsibilities or assist in other areas as needed. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic construction environment. Requirements: No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in construction, labor, or related field preferred but not mandatory. Physical stamina, strength, and agility to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects in outdoor and sometimes adverse weather conditions. Basic understanding of construction terminology, practices, and safety regulations. Reliable transportation to and from the construction site. Ability to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced construction environment.
