We specialize in the design, fabrication, and installation of aluminum products for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. As part of our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminum Fabricator to join us. Job Description: 1. Aluminum Fabrication and Assembly: Fabricate aluminum products, components, and structures according to engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements using cutting, bending, welding, and assembling techniques. Operate manual and automated fabrication machinery and equipment, such as saws, drills, routers, bending machines, and welding machines, to produce high-quality aluminum products. 2. Material Handling and Preparation: Select and procure aluminum materials, profiles, and extrusions from suppliers/vendors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints. Prepare aluminum materials for fabrication, including cutting, milling, drilling, and shaping, using appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques. 3. Welding and Joining: Perform aluminum welding and joining operations, including TIG welding, MIG welding, spot welding, and soldering, to create strong and durable joints and connections. Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and cleanliness of weld joints, following welding procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control standards. 4. Finishing and Surface Treatment: Finish fabricated aluminum products by sanding, grinding, buffing, and polishing surfaces to achieve desired smoothness, texture, and appearance. Apply surface treatments, coatings, and finishes, such as anodizing, powder coating, and painting, to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics. 5. Quality Assurance and Control: Inspect fabricated aluminum components and products for dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, and visual appearance, conducting quality checks at each stage of the fabrication process. Identify and rectify any defects, imperfections, or deviations from specifications, implementing corrective actions and quality improvement measures as necessary. 6. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices while performing fabrication operations, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety precautions. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, implementing safety measures and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. 7. Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other team members to review project requirements, discuss fabrication methods, and resolve technical issues. Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress, challenges, and requirements, ensuring alignment and timely completion of fabrication tasks. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in aluminum fabrication, metalworking, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an aluminum fabricator, metalworker, welder, or similar role, with a strong understanding of aluminum fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, routers, bending machines, welding machines, and finishing equipment. Welding certification (e.g., TIG, MIG) and experience in aluminum welding techniques preferred. Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in fabrication work, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity to handle aluminum materials, operate machinery, and perform fabrication tasks in a production environment.
