Job Summary: The Security Officer/Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors by patrolling the area, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and controlling access points. The Security Officer/Guard will also respond to emergencies, enforce regulations, and report any suspicious activities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras. Control access points, verifying identification and issuing visitor badges when necessary. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Write reports documenting security incidents and actions taken. Enforce company policies and procedures related to security. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary. Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed. Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential security risks. Stay updated on security best practices and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a security officer or guard. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Excellent observation and surveillance skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical fitness and stamina to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in security training is a plus.
