We are currently seeking a courteous and diligent Petrol Filling Station Attendant to join our team in Kottayam. As a Petrol Filling Station Attendant, you will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient service to customers, ensuring the safe and proper dispensing of fuel, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the filling station. Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the filling station. Dispense fuel accurately and efficiently into customers' vehicles while adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. Provide information and assistance to customers regarding fuel types, prices, and other services offered at the station. Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks on fuel dispensing equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor. Monitor fuel levels in storage tanks and order refills as needed to ensure adequate supply. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the filling station, including fuel pumps, islands, restrooms, and surrounding areas. Conduct regular inspections for safety hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stocking shelves with merchandise. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, or emergencies and resolve issues in a professional manner. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the filling station and provide support as needed. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the petroleum industry, is an advantage but not required. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of fuel dispensing equipment and safety procedures is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in India.
