Dish Washer Job Opening in Kottayam

We are currently seeking a diligent and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in Kottayam. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness of our kitchen and maintaining a smooth workflow for our culinary team. Your primary responsibility will be to wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities: Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. Scrape, rinse, and load dirty dishes and utensils into the dishwasher. Ensure that all items are properly positioned for thorough cleaning and sanitization. Monitor dishwasher operations and maintain appropriate water temperature and chemical levels. Empty and clean dishwasher filters and traps as needed. Hand wash dishes and utensils that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including the dishwashing machine, sinks, and surrounding surfaces. Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks as needed, such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash. Follow health and safety standards and guidelines at all times. Cooperate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor or manager. Requirements: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices. Must be legally eligible to work in India.
