We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Spare Parts Incharge to join our team in Changaneserry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of parts for maintenance and repair needs, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts. Maintain accurate records of all spare parts transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and negotiate best prices. Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent stockouts. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs. Work closely with maintenance and repair teams to understand their parts needs and ensure availability. Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records and identify discrepancies. Keep track of obsolete or slow-moving parts and recommend appropriate action. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in handling and storing spare parts. Train and supervise junior staff members involved in spare parts management. Prepare reports on inventory status, stock movement, and other relevant metrics for management review. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency in spare parts management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience working in spare parts management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Proficiency in computerized inventory systems and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Leadership skills to manage a team and drive results. Knowledge of safety and quality standards related to spare parts handling. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
