We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Chip Level Technician to join our team in Palakkad. The Chip Level Technician will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic devices at the component level, including but not limited to laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other consumer electronics. Responsibilities: Diagnostic Assessment: Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to identify hardware and software issues in electronic devices. Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and testing equipment to pinpoint faults at the component level. Component-Level Repair: Perform intricate repairs and replacements on electronic devices, including soldering, desoldering, and reworking of surface-mount and through-hole components. Address issues with ICs, capacitors, resistors, connectors, and other components as required. Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance tasks to uphold optimal device performance and durability. Inspect internal components, connectors, and ports for dust, debris, and corrosion, and perform cleaning and maintenance procedures accordingly. Software Configuration: Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems on electronic devices. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues such as driver conflicts, compatibility problems, and software glitches. Data Recovery and Backup: Implement data recovery and backup protocols to retrieve lost or corrupted data from electronic devices. Utilize specialized tools and techniques to recover data from damaged storage media such as hard drives, SSDs, and memory cards. Quality Control: Ensure that all repair and service activities adhere to stringent quality standards and manufacturer specifications. Conduct thorough functional tests and quality inspections to validate the integrity and functionality of repaired devices. Customer Support: Deliver exemplary customer service and support by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Provide transparent communication regarding repair status, estimated completion times, and cost estimates to foster positive customer experiences. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Electronics Engineering, Computer Hardware, or a related field. Proven experience as a Chip Level Technician or in a similar capacity, preferably within an electronics repair or service environment. Comprehensive knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems. Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques, with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other essential testing equipment. Demonstrated expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting and repair methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a customer-centric mindset. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
