We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team in Kalpetta. The Service Advisor will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to clients who bring their vehicles for servicing or repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greet customers as they arrive at the service center and assist them with their service needs. Listen attentively to customer concerns and questions, and provide accurate information and guidance regarding vehicle servicing and repairs. Service Consultation: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assessments to identify service requirements and recommend appropriate maintenance or repair solutions. Explain service options, pricing, and timelines to customers and obtain their approval for recommended services. Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments for customers based on their availability and service requirements. Coordinate with service technicians and other staff to ensure efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of services. Service Recommendations: Educate customers on the importance of regular vehicle maintenance and address any concerns or questions they may have about their vehicles. Recommend additional services or repairs as needed based on vehicle condition and manufacturer recommendations. Service Coordination: Communicate effectively with service technicians and other service center staff to relay customer concerns, service requirements, and special instructions. Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of required parts and materials for service jobs. Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and address any additional questions or concerns they may have. Obtain feedback on service experience and use it to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service appointments, and vehicle service history using computerized systems or service management software. Prepare service estimates, invoices, and other documentation as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and maintenance requirements. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
