AC Technician Job Opening in Thiruvananthapuram

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The AC Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, including split units, window units, central AC systems, and ductless mini-split systems. Ensure proper placement and alignment of indoor and outdoor units, as well as accurate wiring and connection of components. Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system malfunctions, including cooling issues, compressor problems, refrigerant leaks, and electrical faults. Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and thermostats. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of AC systems to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Clean air filters, coils, and ducts, and lubricate moving parts to improve system efficiency and prolong equipment lifespan. Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and in accordance with environmental regulations. Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and charging procedures using proper equipment and techniques to prevent leaks and minimize environmental impact. System Testing: Test AC systems for proper operation, temperature control, and airflow. Adjust thermostat settings, fan speeds, and refrigerant levels as needed to achieve optimal performance and energy efficiency. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all AC installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Keep detailed service logs, work orders, and equipment manuals for reference and compliance purposes. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the installation, repair, and maintenance process. Explain procedures, findings, and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and courteously. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician. Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, components, and controls. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing AC system malfunctions. Familiarity with refrigerant handling procedures and safety protocols. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
