We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminum Fabricator to join our team in Trivandrum. The Aluminum Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating and assembling aluminum products according to specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities: Reading Blueprints: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements. Identify dimensions, materials, and fabrication methods for aluminum products. Cutting and Shaping: Cut aluminum profiles and sheets to the required dimensions using saws, shears, or CNC machines. Shape aluminum components by bending, rolling, drilling, and punching as necessary. Welding and Joining: Weld aluminum components together using TIG, MIG, or arc welding techniques. Ensure proper alignment and welding parameters to achieve strong and durable joints. Assembly: Assemble aluminum components and sub-assemblies into finished products such as windows, doors, frames, and panels. Use fasteners, adhesives, and sealants to secure components together. Finishing: Smooth rough edges and surfaces of aluminum products using grinders, sanders, and polishing tools. Apply surface finishes such as powder coating, anodizing, or painting to enhance appearance and durability. Quality Control: Inspect fabricated aluminum products for defects, inaccuracies, and dimensional discrepancies. Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications before shipment or installation. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when operating machinery, handling tools, and working with aluminum materials. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, including material usage, production times, and quality inspections. Complete production reports and update project documentation as required. Requirements: Proven experience as an Aluminum Fabricator or similar role, with a strong background in aluminum fabrication and assembly. Technical certification or diploma in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Hands-on experience with aluminum fabrication tools and equipment, including saws, drills, welders, and grinders. Welding certification (TIG, MIG, or arc) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication and assembly tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
