We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to join our team in Kozhikode. The CCTV Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems to ensure the security and safety of our clients' premises. Responsibilities: Installation: Install and set up CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and associated equipment at client locations, including residential, commercial, and industrial premises. Ensure proper placement and positioning of cameras to maximize coverage and effectiveness. Wiring and Cabling: Run cables and wiring for CCTV systems, including coaxial cables, Ethernet cables, and power cables. Conceal cables neatly and securely to minimize visibility and prevent tampering or damage. Configuration and Programming: Configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR units, and recording settings according to client requirements and system specifications. Set up motion detection, recording schedules, and remote viewing capabilities as needed. Maintenance and Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure they are functioning properly. Clean camera lenses, adjust camera angles, and replace faulty components such as cables, connectors, and power supplies as needed. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with CCTV systems, including camera malfunctions, recording failures, and connectivity problems. Identify root causes of problems and implement solutions to restore system functionality. Upgrades and Expansion: Recommend and implement upgrades or expansions to existing CCTV systems to enhance performance, coverage, and capabilities. Install additional cameras, upgrade DVR/NVR units, or integrate new features such as PTZ controls or advanced analytics. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and service reports. Document any changes or modifications made to CCTV systems for future reference. Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally and courteously, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their CCTV systems. Provide guidance and training to clients on how to use and manage their CCTV systems effectively. Requirements: Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role, with a strong background in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Technical certification or diploma in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in using CCTV equipment, tools, and software for installation and configuration. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including IP addressing, TCP/IP, and DHCP. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
