AutoCAD Designer Job Opening in Kozhikode

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our team in Kozhikode. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software for various construction and engineering projects. Responsibilities: Drafting: Use AutoCAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and schematics based on project specifications, sketches, and input from engineers or architects. Technical Drawings: Prepare accurate and precise technical drawings for architectural, civil, mechanical, or electrical projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. Design Modifications: Modify and revise existing drawings as required, incorporating changes and updates provided by project stakeholders while maintaining consistency and accuracy. Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that drawings meet project requirements, standards, and specifications. Quality Control: Review drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance with design standards and regulations. Make necessary corrections and adjustments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the drawings. Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings, including file management, version control, and record-keeping, to facilitate project communication and coordination. Coordination: Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to exchange drawings and information, resolve design issues, and support the progress of the project. Deadline Management: Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and demonstrated experience in creating technical drawings and plans. Strong understanding of drafting techniques, standards, and practices. Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving design challenges. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
