As an Alfahm Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and grilling Alfahm, a popular Middle Eastern grilled chicken dish, to meet the culinary preferences and expectations of customers in a restaurant or food service establishment. Your primary objective will be to ensure the authentic flavor, quality, and presentation of Alfahm while adhering to established recipes, standards, and hygiene practices. This role requires culinary expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities: Preparation of Marinade: Prepare the marinade for Alfahm by mixing and blending various spices, herbs, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, and other ingredients according to the restaurant's recipe and specifications, ensuring a well-balanced flavor profile and tenderizing effect. Marinating Chicken: Coat chicken pieces, typically thighs or drumsticks, with the prepared marinade, ensuring thorough coverage and penetration of flavors, and refrigerate them for the designated marination period to enhance taste and tenderness. Grilling Alfahm: Grill marinated chicken pieces on a charcoal or gas grill, rotating and flipping them as needed to achieve even cooking and caramelization, and basting with additional marinade or oil to keep them moist and flavorful. Temperature Monitoring: Monitor grill temperature and cooking times closely to prevent overcooking or burning of the chicken, adjusting heat levels and grill positions as needed to maintain optimal cooking conditions and ensure juicy and succulent results. Garnishing and Presentation: Plate grilled Alfahm attractively, garnishing with fresh herbs, lemon wedges, and onion rings, and serving with accompaniments such as garlic sauce, tahini, hummus, or pita bread to enhance the dining experience.
