As a Bike Washing Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining motorcycles and scooters to ensure they are in pristine condition. Responsibilities: Bike Washing: Perform thorough cleaning of motorcycles and scooters using appropriate cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques to remove dirt, grime, and stains from various surfaces, including the body, tires, wheels, and engine components. Preparation: Prepare bikes for washing by removing accessories, covering sensitive components, and applying protective coatings or sealants as needed to prevent damage during the washing process. Cleaning Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bike washing, including pre-rinsing, applying cleaning solutions, scrubbing, rinsing, and drying, ensuring consistent and effective cleaning results for each bike. Detailing: Perform detailed cleaning and polishing of bike surfaces, including chrome parts, mirrors, and exhaust pipes, to restore shine and luster and enhance the overall appearance of the bike. Inspection: Inspect bikes for any damage, scratches, or defects before and after washing, and report any issues or abnormalities to the supervisor or appropriate personnel for further evaluation and resolution. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of bike washing equipment, tools, and facilities, including pressure washers, brushes, hoses, and drying stations, and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), handling of cleaning chemicals, and safe operation of equipment, to prevent accidents and injuries. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answer inquiries about bike washing services, and provide assistance as needed to ensure a positive customer experience. Workplace Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bike washing area, including storage of cleaning supplies, disposal of waste materials, and proper disposal of hazardous substances according to regulations. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all bike washing services meet quality standards and customer expectations, and address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in bike washing, vehicle detailing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
