As a Receptionist in Kannur, your primary role is to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to guests and visitors of the establishment. You serve as the first point of contact, representing the company and creating a positive impression. Your duties may include, but are not limited to: Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Warmly welcoming guests and visitors as they arrive at the reception area. Providing assistance and information to guests, including directions, facility information, and local attractions. Check-in and Check-out: Assisting guests with check-in and check-out procedures. Collecting guest information, verifying identification, and processing payments accurately and efficiently. Room Reservations: Handling room reservations and inquiries via phone, email, or in person. Providing information about room availability, rates, and amenities. Making reservations and updating the reservation system accordingly. Phone and Email Management: Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally. Screening and forwarding calls to the appropriate department or staff member. Responding to email inquiries and messages in a timely manner. Guest Services: Providing personalized assistance to guests to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Fulfilling guest requests, such as arranging transportation, booking tours, or making restaurant reservations. Administrative Support: Performing various administrative tasks, such as typing correspondence, filing documents, and managing paperwork. Assisting with data entry, record-keeping, and inventory management as needed. Handling Complaints and Concerns: Addressing guest complaints and concerns promptly and courteously. Resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction or escalating them to the appropriate manager or supervisor for resolution. Security and Access Control: Monitoring access to the premises and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the facility. Issuing visitor passes or badges and maintaining visitor logs as required. Cash Handling: Handling cash transactions, including processing room payments, deposits, and refunds. Balancing cash drawers and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift. Maintaining a Clean and Organized Reception Area: Keeping the reception area clean, tidy, and organized at all times. Ensuring that promotional materials, brochures, and signage are displayed neatly and attractively. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative support preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using computer systems and office software, including MS Office and reservation systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages may be advantageous.
