Key Responsibilities: Tandoor Cooking: Expertly prepare and cook various meats, such as chicken, lamb, and fish, as well as vegetables and bread, using a tandoor oven. Skewer marinated ingredients onto metal or wooden skewers and cook them in the tandoor at appropriate temperatures and cooking times. Marination: Prepare marinades and seasoning blends for meats and vegetables, ensuring that they are well-balanced and enhance the flavor of the dishes. Marinate ingredients for the appropriate amount of time to achieve optimal flavor and tenderness. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency by adhering to established recipes, portion sizes, and cooking techniques. Inspect cooked dishes for appearance, texture, and flavor to ensure they meet quality standards before serving. Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new tandoor dishes or variations, incorporating innovative flavors and ingredients while staying true to traditional Indian cooking techniques.
