As an LED Display Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing LED display systems used for advertising, signage, and entertainment purposes. Your expertise in electronics, technology, and visual displays will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of LED screens for various applications. Responsibilities: Install LED display systems at client sites, including outdoor billboards, indoor signage, stage displays, and digital screens. Coordinate with project managers and clients to determine installation requirements, site specifications, and project timelines. Mount and secure LED panels, configure display settings, and conduct testing to ensure proper functionality and alignment. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and software updates, to optimize display performance and longevity. Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot problems with LED displays, including malfunctioning pixels, wiring faults, and software glitches. Repair or replace defective components, such as LED modules, power supplies, control boards, and cables, using specialized tools and equipment. Collaborate with electrical contractors, riggers, and other technicians to coordinate installations and resolve complex technical issues. Keep accurate records of work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to LED display systems. Provide technical support and training to clients, operators, and maintenance staff on the operation and maintenance of LED display systems. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an LED Display Technician, preferably in the signage, advertising, or entertainment industry. Strong technical skills and proficiency in electronics, digital displays, and LED technology. Knowledge of LED display systems, including hardware components, software applications, and control systems. Familiarity with installation techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards for LED displays. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings. Effective communication skills and customer service orientation. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle equipment and perform tasks in demanding environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
