Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate South Indian Cook to join our culinary team. As a South Indian Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of South Indian dishes, ensuring that they meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and authenticity. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the reputation of our restaurant as a go-to destination for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a diverse range of South Indian dishes, including but not limited to dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and various rice dishes. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to authentic South Indian recipes, maintaining the traditional flavors and culinary techniques. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient food preparation and service during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines. Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted cooking operations. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and special dishes, keeping abreast of food trends and customer preferences. Train and supervise kitchen staff members, providing guidance on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and food presentation. Uphold high standards of quality control, conducting regular taste tests and inspections of prepared dishes to ensure consistency and excellence.
