We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Cook to join our culinary team in Nedumangad. As a Chinese Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency in taste. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Chinese cuisine, creativity in food presentation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes such as stir-fries, noodles, dumplings, and soups according to recipes and standards. Ensure that all food products are fresh, properly stored, and handled safely in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations. Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure availability of ingredients. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate cooking times and presentation of dishes. Adapt recipes and menu items as necessary to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses. Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Stay updated on current trends in Chinese cuisine and incorporate new ideas into menu development. Uphold high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation to satisfy customer expectations and enhance dining experiences. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chinese Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen environment. Extensive knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Certification in culinary arts or relevant training from a recognized culinary school is preferred. Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or containers. Understanding of basic kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking methods, and sanitation procedures. Fluent in Malayalam and basic proficiency in English is preferred.
