We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Tandoor Maker to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities: Tandoor Cooking: Operate and manage the tandoor oven efficiently. Prepare a variety of tandoor dishes, including bread, kebabs, and other specialties. Monitor and maintain consistent cooking temperatures. Recipe Execution: Follow established recipes and cooking techniques to ensure the quality and authenticity of tandoor dishes. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine tandoor recipes. Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the tandoor area and equipment. Quality Control: Regularly inspect and taste dishes to ensure they meet quality standards. Address any issues related to taste, presentation, or consistency promptly. Ingredient Management: Responsible for managing and organizing tandoor ingredients. Communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure sufficient stock of required items. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow. Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff. Menu Innovation: Contribute ideas for tandoor-related menu innovations and improvements. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into tandoor cooking. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Tandoor Maker or similar role. Extensive knowledge of traditional tandoor cooking methods and techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
