We are currently seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team in Kozhikode. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision and objectives of our organization. You will work closely with our creative team to edit and produce compelling video content for various purposes, including marketing campaigns, promotional videos, social media content, and corporate presentations. Responsibilities: Edit raw video footage and assemble it into a polished, finished product that meets the creative vision and objectives of the project. Trim, cut, and arrange footage to create a cohesive and engaging narrative flow. Incorporate transitions, effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of the video. Select and integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement the visuals and enhance the overall impact of the video. Collaborate with the creative team, including directors, producers, and graphic designers, to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute video projects. Ensure consistency in branding, style, and messaging across all video content produced by the organization. Stay updated on industry trends, video editing techniques, and software tools to continuously improve skills and capabilities. Maintain organized project files and adhere to established workflows and best practices for efficient video production and editing. Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, clients, and team members to refine and improve video projects. Optimize videos for various distribution channels, including websites, social media platforms, and streaming services, while ensuring compatibility and quality standards are met. Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and freelancers as needed to support video production and editing requirements. Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality video content on time and within budget. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills and creative projects. Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Solid understanding of video production techniques, cinematography, and storytelling principles. Strong creative vision and attention to detail, with the ability to translate concepts and ideas into compelling visual narratives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and animation is a plus. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve creatively.
