As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Kozhikode. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the shop while maintaining the highest standards of customer service, product quality, and operational efficiency. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include: Managing all aspects of the store's operations, including sales, inventory management, and staff supervision. Leading and motivating a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Implementing strategies to maximize sales and profitability while minimizing costs and losses. Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand. Creating and implementing effective merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and drive sales. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including health and safety regulations. Handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing coaching and training to staff as needed. Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience in retail management, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Solid understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and merchandising. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and Point of Sale (POS) systems. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
