Overview: The Automobile Service Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an automobile service center in Malappuram. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all activities within the service center, including vehicle repairs, maintenance, and customer service. Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks. Oversee the scheduling of appointments and allocate resources effectively to meet customer demands. Ensure that service technicians adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, and place orders as needed to avoid shortages. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in automotive engineering, business management, or a related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) in a supervisory or managerial role within the automotive service industry. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle mechanics and diagnostic procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Proficiency in computer applications related to automotive service management (e.g., service scheduling software, inventory management systems). Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and goals. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards pertaining to automobile servicing. Valid driver's license.
