We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Electronic Technician to join our team in Kottayam. As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and equipment, including but not limited to audio-visual systems, communication devices, and control systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting electronic issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that electronic equipment operates efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and test electronic systems and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. Troubleshoot electronic systems and devices to identify and resolve issues, including wiring problems, component failures, and software glitches. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibrating, and adjusting electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Diagnose faults in electronic circuits, components, and systems using diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment. Repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as circuit boards, sensors, switches, and wiring harnesses, to restore functionality. Program and update firmware/software in electronic devices and systems to ensure compatibility and compliance with standards. Test and verify the functionality of electronic systems and equipment after repairs or modifications. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand the operation and maintenance requirements of electronic equipment. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to coordinate installations, repairs, and upgrades. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in electronics repair and maintenance. Provide technical support and assistance to customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders as needed. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Electronic Technician or similar role, preferably in a technical or electronic services environment. Strong knowledge of electronic principles, circuits, and components. Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and soldering irons. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems, including audio-visual equipment, communication devices, and control systems. Familiarity with electronic software/firmware programming and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations, as needed.
