We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigerator Technician to join our team in Kottayam. As a Refrigerator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, freezers, and coolers. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that refrigeration equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, freezers, and coolers, in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Diagnose refrigeration system problems, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues, using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn components, to ensure optimal system performance. Identify and replace faulty or worn parts, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, and fans, to restore system functionality. Test refrigeration systems for leaks using leak detection equipment and repair leaks as necessary. Recharge refrigerant levels according to manufacturer specifications and industry regulations. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of service and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and customer information. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients, answering questions, and explaining repair options and recommendations. Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and management to coordinate repair schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of work orders. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in refrigeration systems and techniques. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to meet customer expectations and uphold the company's reputation for excellence. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or HVAC Technician, preferably in a similar role. Certification or training in refrigeration technology, HVAC systems, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and equipment for testing and repair. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations, as needed.
