As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Scan and bag items, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantity. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and provide correct change to customers. Assist customers in locating products and provide information on pricing, promotions, and product features. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding aisles. Monitor inventory levels of cashier supplies and inform management when supplies need to be replenished. Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred. Strong numerical and cash handling skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Knowledge of local language (Malayalam) is preferred.
