Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Automobile Electrician to join our team in Pathanamthitta. As an Automobile Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Your role will involve troubleshooting electrical issues, installing new electrical components, and ensuring the proper functioning of vehicle electronics. Responsibilities: Diagnose electrical problems in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment. Inspect and test vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, wiring, and lighting. Identify and repair wiring faults, short circuits, and other electrical issues. Install and configure electrical components such as stereos, alarms, GPS systems, and aftermarket accessories. Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including switches, relays, fuses, and motors. Perform electrical upgrades and modifications as requested by customers. Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation and repair procedures. Test and adjust vehicle electrical systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, parts used, and labor hours. Provide estimates for electrical repair work and communicate with customers regarding the status of repairs. Keep abreast of advancements in automotive electrical systems and technologies. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as an Automobile Electrician or similar role in an automotive repair shop or dealership. Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, components, and diagnostic tools. Familiarity with wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed. Certification in automotive electrical systems or related field is a plus
