We are currently seeking a skilled Cutting Master to join our team in Kasaragod, Kerala. The Cutting Master will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring precision cutting of fabrics according to specified patterns and measurements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the textile or garment industry, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate proficiency in operating cutting equipment. Responsibilities: Interpret and analyze garment patterns and specifications to determine the most efficient cutting layout. Operate cutting machinery, such as fabric cutters, straight knives, or rotary shears, to accurately cut fabrics according to patterns and measurements. Ensure the proper alignment and stacking of fabric layers before cutting to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Inspect fabrics for defects or flaws before cutting, and make necessary adjustments to avoid cutting faulty materials. Maintain and calibrate cutting equipment to ensure accurate and consistent cuts. Monitor fabric inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to replenish supplies as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Collaborate with design, production, and quality control teams to address any issues or concerns related to cutting processes. Keep accurate records of cutting activities, including fabric usage, waste, and production output. Assist in other production tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors. Requirements: Proven experience as a Cutting Master or similar role in the textile or garment industry. Proficiency in using cutting equipment and tools, including fabric cutters, straight knives, and rotary shears. Strong understanding of garment patterns, layouts, and measurements.
