We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Retreading Technician to join our team in Kozhikode. As a Tyre Retreading Technician, you will be responsible for the retreading process of various types of tires to ensure their optimal performance and longevity. Your role will involve inspecting tires for damage, buffing, repairing, and retreading them according to industry standards and specifications. Responsibilities: Inspect tires for tread wear, damage, and other defects. Use buffing machines to remove worn tread and prepare the tire surface for retreading. Repair any punctures, cuts, or other damages to the tire's surface. Apply new treads onto the tire casing using retreading equipment and techniques. Ensure proper adhesion and curing of the new tread to the tire casing. Perform quality checks on retreaded tires to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Maintain accurate records of tire inventory, retreading processes, and quality control measures. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Collaborate with team members to streamline retreading processes and improve efficiency. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and productive environment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Tyre Retreading Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of tire construction, materials, and retreading techniques. Ability to use retreading equipment such as buffing machines, curing chambers, and tread application tools. Attention to detail and quality with the ability to identify tire defects and perform accurate repairs. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy tires and equipment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed. Certification in tyre retreading or related field is a plus.
