The Spare Parts Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our spare parts department. This individual will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, customer service, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service orientation. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming spare parts shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems. Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as necessary to avoid shortages. Customer Service: Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct spare parts for their vehicles. Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers in person, over the phone, and via email. Process spare parts orders efficiently and accurately. Administrative Support: Prepare invoices, receipts, and other necessary paperwork for spare parts transactions. Handle cash and credit card transactions securely and accurately. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized spare parts department. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate efforts and resolve issues. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive dealership or spare parts store. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is preferred but not required. Fluency in Malayalam and English is essential.
