We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at our establishment in Palakkad. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Train and mentor restaurant staff on customer service standards, menu items, and proper service techniques. Monitor the performance of restaurant staff, providing feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed to maintain high standards of service. Ensure that all customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints are addressed promptly and resolved to their satisfaction. Oversee the seating of guests, ensuring that tables are set up correctly, and guests are seated in a timely and efficient manner. Manage reservations and seating assignments, optimizing table turnover and maximizing restaurant revenue. Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure that food orders are prepared and served promptly and accurately. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies, tracking inventory levels, and managing food and beverage costs. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and promotional strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue. Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant facilities, equipment, and fixtures, identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair needs. Stay updated on current industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements. Assist with special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire restaurant staff. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, preparation techniques, and service standards. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Fluent in Malayalam; proficiency in English is an advantage. Proficiency in computer applications, including POS systems and Microsoft Office. Certification or training in food safety and sanitation is preferred. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
