Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Snacks Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of traditional and contemporary snacks, ensuring high standards of taste, quality, and hygiene. Responsibilities: Prepare a diverse range of snacks such as samosas, vadas, pakoras, and other popular items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including proper handling and storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and communicate any shortages or replenishment needs to the management team. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards to guarantee the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new recipes and variations to enhance our snack offerings and meet customer preferences. Follow established portion control and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency in product quality and appearance. Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. Assist in the packaging and labeling of snacks for retail sale or takeaway orders, ensuring accurate labeling and adherence to branding guidelines. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills, knowledge of ingredients, and awareness of industry trends. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Snacks Maker or similar role in a food service establishment, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in preparing a variety of snacks using traditional Indian cooking techniques and recipes. Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the business. Certification in food handling and safety practices (preferred but not mandatory). Passion for food and a genuine desire to create memorable culinary experiences for customers.
