We are currently seeking diligent and reliable individuals to join our team as Dishwashers at our establishment in Palakkad. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen by ensuring that dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring a hygienic environment for food preparation. Responsibilities: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils by hand or using dishwashing equipment. Load and unload dishwashing machines, ensuring that items are arranged properly for thorough cleaning. Scrub and remove food residue from dishes, pots, and pans using scrub brushes and scouring pads as needed. Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, and equipment as needed. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials according to established procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, dish racks, and storage shelves. Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables, as needed. Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines while performing dishwashing duties. Report any maintenance or repair issues with dishwashing equipment to the supervisor promptly. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management. Requirements: Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Fluent in Malayalam; proficiency in English is an advantage. Willingness to learn and follow instructions and procedures. Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
