As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various areas of our premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our customers and staff. This position is crucial in upholding our reputation for cleanliness and providing a positive experience for all who visit our establishment. Responsibilities: Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including but not limited to, dining areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and spills. Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants. Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to maintain a clear and streak-free appearance. Replenish supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, in restrooms and other designated areas. Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance issues or shortages to the supervisor. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Work collaboratively with other cleaning staff and departments to maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene standards. Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management or staff. Requirements: Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not required. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting. Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Fluent in Malayalam; proficiency in English is an advantage. Willingness to learn and follow instructions and procedures.
