We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Cook to join our restaurant located in Kottayam. As a Chinese Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese dishes to the highest standard, ensuring that our customers receive delicious and authentic meals every time they visit. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes including stir-fries, noodles, dumplings, soups, and appetizers. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours. Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards.Proven experience as a Chinese Cook or similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting. In-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Certification in culinary arts or relevant training is preferred but not required.
