We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Air Ticketing Executive with extensive experience in Sabre GDS to join our dynamic back-office team as a dedicated refund specialist. You will be responsible for processing a high volume of refund requests with accuracy and efficiency, minimizing administrative debit memo (ADM) charges, and contributing to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Refund Processing: Process a minimum of 50 ticket refunds per day, adhering to company policies and deadlines. Analyze and assess refund requests based on complex fare rules and regulations using Sabre GDS. Communicate effectively with airline operation teams to clarify intricate refund scenarios and obtain necessary approvals. Ensure accurate and timely issuance of refunds while staying compliant with airline and industry regulations. Maintain detailed records of all refund transactions, including communication logs and supporting documentation. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients regarding ticket refunds. Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring clear and accurate communication. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, fostering trust and satisfaction. ADM Avoidance: Proactively identify and address potential issues that could lead to ADMs, such as incorrect fare application or missed deadlines. Partner with other departments to improve processes and procedures that impact refund accuracy and efficiency. Continuously update your knowledge of airline fare rules and regulations to minimize future errors. Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Sabre GDS, specifically with ticket refunds. Proven ability to process a high volume of complex ticket refunds accurately and efficiently. In-depth knowledge of airline fare rules, regulations, and refund procedures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in a travel agency or airline environment. Excellent knowledge of airline industry terminology and practices. Ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines.
