Job Description
Porotta Maker Job Vacancy Opening in Kulathupuzha, Kollam.A porotta maker (frequently called a porotta master) is a specialized culinary role in South Indian cuisine, particularly prominent across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Their primary responsibility is the mass preparation, intricate layering, and high-volume cooking of traditional layered flatbreads (such as Malabar porotta, wheat paratha, nool porotta, or Ceylon porotta). Because making authentic porotta requires a distinct technique of kneading, oil-resting, throwing/fluffing, and pleating dough, this is considered a highly specialized, craft-based kitchen role rather than a generic helper position.
