Job Description
A garment merchandiser acts as the main link between clothing buyers and manufacturing factories to manage orders from raw materials to final shipping. Sampling and Approvals: Make proto, fit, and size-set samples, and get buyer sign-offs on lab dips, trims, and accessories. Costing and Sourcing: Calculate product costs, build Bill of Materials (BOM), and source fabrics or raw materials. Communication: Talk daily with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and quality control departments. Execution and Shipping: Handle purchase orders, set up final factory inspections, and oversee export documents
