Job Description
The Bodyshop Manager at SGA Tata Motors India Pvt Ltd (covering locations like Salem, Tiruchengode, Sankagiri, Vazhapady, Mettur, Erode, and Paramathi Velur) is responsible for running the accident repair, denting, painting, and insurance claim workflows. They must ensure high-quality restorations while maximizing workshop profitability and maintaining Tata Motors OEM standard guidelines. DME (Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering), B.E. (Mechanical/Automobile), or equivalent technical background. Minimum 5 to 8 years in automobile workshop operations, with at least 2 to 3 years directly leading a bodyshop or collision repair center. Strong negotiation skills for handling insurance surveyors and excellent team management capabilities to guide a team of tinkers, painters, and advisors.
