Job Description
An automobile body worker, or auto body technician, restores and repairs damaged vehicle frames and exteriors to their pre-accident condition. Daily duties include assessing damage, using hydraulic equipment to straighten frames, welding or replacing damaged panels, and sanding, priming, and painting surfaces to match the original finish.Evaluate collision reports, inspect the extent of structural and cosmetic damage, and determine the parts needed for repair.
