We are hiring an Assay Master for a jewellery manufacturing and retail firm in Kollam. The candidate will be responsible for testing and verifying the purity of gold, silver, and other precious metals using assay and laboratory procedures. Duties include fire assay, XRF machine operation, sampling, hallmark verification, and maintaining quality records. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, supporting production quality control, and coordinating with the manufacturing and retail teams. Candidates with a BSc Chemistry background are preferred due to knowledge of chemical analysis and material properties. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle laboratory instruments safely. Computer knowledge for documentation is required.
