Job Description
We are hiring a skilled Quantity Surveyor for a reputed furniture manufacturing industry in Calicut. The candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing detailed quantity take-offs, and managing material requirements for furniture production and installation projects. Duties include analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing cost estimates, tracking material usage, and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves coordinating with production, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate budgeting and timely execution of orders. The candidate should be capable of preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), monitoring expenses, and maintaining financial records related to projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of measurement techniques, costing, and construction/furniture industry standards. Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software is preferred. A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field is required. Prior experience in furniture or interior projects will be an advantage. Salary will be based on experience.
