An Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about courses and programs, handling inquiries, and supporting enrollment targets. The role involves student counseling, lead conversion, relationship management, and coordination with academic and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents regarding courses, admissions, eligibility, and career opportunities.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
Follow up with prospective students to convert leads into admissions.
Explain fee structures, scholarship opportunities, and admission procedures.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications in CRM/software.
Coordinate admission documentation and verification processes.
Organize seminars, webinars, education fairs, and counseling sessions.
Build relationships with schools, colleges, and educational consultants.
Achieve monthly and yearly admission targets.
Provide excellent customer service throughout the admission cycle.
