1. Cleaning and Maintenance: - Clean and sanitize all utensils, dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment. - Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and other F&B facilities. - Regularly clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers. - Arrange and store dishes, silverware, and glassware properly. 2. Assisting Kitchen Staff: - Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation tasks. - Support kitchen staff during peak hours by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits. - Responsible for food storage and proper labeling of items in the kitchen. 3. Inventory Management: - Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, utensils, and other necessary items. - Report low stock levels to the supervisor and assist in restocking supplies. 4. Compliance and Safety: - Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. - Follow proper sanitation procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. - Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. 5. Guest Service: - Assist in table setting and maintaining a clean and well-organized dining area. - Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries. - Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure seamless service to guests. 6. Teamwork: - Collaborate with other F&B staff members to create a positive and efficient work environment. - Work closely with chefs, waitstaff, and other kitchen personnel to meet guest expectations. 7. Multitasking: - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, especially during busy hours. - Stay calm under pressure and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent qualification. - Previous 1-2 years experience as steward is preferred. - Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
