Job Description
Customer service: Greet and seat guests, present menus, and take food and beverage orders accurately. Provide menu recommendations and handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
Service operations: Serve food and drinks, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and learn different service techniques (e.g., American, French, Indian).
Setup and clearing: Assist in setting up dining areas, buffets, and banquet rooms. Clear tables and reset them promptly and efficiently.
Operational support: Prepare mise-en-place (e.g., cutlery, glassware), assist with room service tray setup, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Cash handling: Assist with guest payments and follow standard cash handling procedures.
Hygiene and safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including dining areas and service stations.
Learning and development: Actively participate in all training sessions, shadow senior staff, and develop knowledge of brand standards and service sequences.
