Job Description
A Guest Relations Executive (GRE) in a hotel is a customer-facing role responsible for ensuring a guest has a comfortable, satisfying, and memorable stay. This includes tasks like welcoming guests, handling complaints, managing VIP guest services, and providing information about the hotel and local attractions to build guest loyalty. Guest welcome and check-out: Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and providing a fond farewell during checkout.
Guest assistance: Helping guests with specific tasks like confirming travel plans, taking messages, and providing information about the hotel's amenities and city attractions.
Complaint resolution: Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
VIP services: Overseeing VIP guests, including pre-registration formalities and ensuring their needs are met.
Information management: Maintaining detailed knowledge of the hotel and local area, including current promotions, room rates, and city attractions.
Service recovery: Collecting feedback and taking immediate action to resolve any service issues.
Special touches: Making occasions like birthdays and anniversaries special through personalized touches.
